origami glitter star lg

This Christmas paper craft was inspired by  the Origami Instructions site. I love these stars because they are so pretty and easy to make. Just cut 5 squares of paper, fold, punch a hole and hang. Beautiful!!! I have included a video that demonstrates the folding and construction of the star. Many thanks to Origami4ik for sharing this awesome video! If you want to see more of his origami videos check out his YouTube channel here.

Supplies:

  • Silver Glitter Wrapping Paper
  • Scissors
  • Paper hole punch
  • Silver Cord

Instructions:

Just follow the instructions provided on the YouTube video above. After you make to star punch a hole in one of the star points and run a silver cord through to make a hanger. That's it.

The only change I made was cutting the square 7 x 4 inches instead of 6 x 3 inches. It made a slightly bigger sized star which I preferred.

Now go make those stars and hang them on your tree, windows or wherever you want to add  some Christmas ambiance. So pretty and easy to make!
